What an intensive three day video shoot that was. After arriving in good time on the Monday evening, it was set up until 9.3o. We created our own little film studio in the client premises with some very nice lighting and and we were all set to start on Tuesday morning. Everything went really well although each ‘shoot’ day lasted 12 hours but we got some great footage on our Sony HVR Z5U camera complete with MR1CK recording unit. For any required ‘stills’ photography we had a nice Nikon DSLR which worked a treat in our mocked up studio.
The clients were really helpful and assisted us well with facilitating our establishment shots and other non studio shots within their premises. This being a medical video shoot, we were always careful to make sure nothing inappropriate was shot and everything ran really smoothly. The clients were also really good people to work with, with nothing being too much trouble.
For one of the ‘to camera interview’ pieces, we managed to create a really good looking set which was just great to look at ‘live’ and recreated well on film.
Now it is into the editing suite to produce a ‘rough cut’ then the final DVD set which we are really hopeful everyone will be happy with.
